Downtown Crabapple in Milton, Georgia, works for a walk with a leashed dog. The City’s park rules allow pets on a leash, one taproom lists a dog-friendly patio, and the market’s lawn is about 4 minutes on foot from Broadwell Pavilion (measured along OpenStreetMap streets and paths at about 3 mph). Where a business publishes no pet policy, we say so.
The park rules
These are from the City of Milton’s park rules and apply at Broadwell Pavilion, Mayfield Park and every other city park:
- Pets must be leashed at all times in Milton parks, and owners must clean up after them. Milton Parks & Rec
- Except for service animals, domestic animals are not allowed on athletic fields in city parks. Milton Parks & Rec
- Milton city parks are open from sunrise to sunset unless otherwise posted or permitted. Milton Parks & Rec
Crabapple Market is private property, and it publishes no pet policy for The Green or its walkways that we could find. Keep the leash on and clean up there too.

Tips for a dog day
- Pavement heats up in summer. NOAA’s 1991-2020 normals for Atlanta Peachtree Airport, the nearest station with temperature data, put the July average high at 89.4 degrees F. See visitor info.
- Bring water. We found no published public dog water station in the village.
- Busy event days are a lot for some dogs: the City reported about 20,000 people at Crabapple Fest 2026.
- Parking near the pavilion and the library is on parking; longer walks are on parks and trails.
