Broadwell Pavilion is a City of Milton pavilion at 12615 Broadwell Road, Milton, GA 30004, in downtown Crabapple, Georgia, about 3 minutes on foot from the crossroads. The City lists it as a picnic pavilion, playground and rentable facility. It is where Milton holds Carvin’ in Crabapple and Christmas in Crabapple, and it is about 4 minutes on foot from the Green at Crabapple Market.
Where it is
The City of Milton gives the address as 12615 Broadwell Road. It is about 3 minutes on foot from the crossroads, across the road from the Crabapple Government Center at 12624 Broadwell Road, which the City uses for accessible parking on Crabapple Fest day. Walking times from the pavilion, measured along OpenStreetMap streets and paths at about 3 mph:
- Crabapple Government Center: about 1 minute.
- Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails at the crossroads: about 3 minutes.
- The Green at Crabapple Market: about 4 minutes.

- Crabapple Market parking garage: about 7 minutes.
- Friendship Community Park: about 8 minutes.
What is there
The City’s current parks page confirms the basics: a picnic pavilion, a playground and a facility you can rent. An older City facility page goes further. It describes a 40-by-52-foot open pavilion with picnic tables and restrooms, with a small green space and playground just outside. That detail is listed by Milton Parks & Rec on an archived page and is not yet confirmed on a current City page, so do not count on the restrooms until you see them. The nearest restrooms the City currently describes are just outside Community Place on the City Hall grounds, about 6 minutes on foot.
The City does not publish hours for the pavilion itself. Its park rules say Milton city parks are open from sunrise to sunset unless otherwise posted or permitted.
City events at the pavilion
- Carvin’ in Crabapple: Saturday, October 24, 2026, 4 to 7 p.m. Bring your own pumpkin; the City supplies carving and painting tools. Milton Police run a Trunk or Treat in the Crabapple Government Center lot across the road.
- Christmas in Crabapple and the Milton Tree Lighting: Saturday, December 5, 2026, 2 to 6 p.m., with Santa, a Kids Market and the tree lit at dusk, per the City of Milton. The City says it typically draws about 1,500 people and its footprint along Broadwell Road is limited.
- Red, White, and YOU parade: the City’s Independence Day walking parade was held at the pavilion on July 3, 2026, the last edition held; the 2027 date is not posted.
The older facility listing also names the Milton Hometown Jubilee among the pavilion’s city events, along with private parties; that is not yet confirmed by the City for current years. The pavilion was also an earlier home of the Milton Farmers Market, which has since closed. The full calendar is on events.
Renting the pavilion
The City lists Broadwell Pavilion as a rentable facility, and the older facility page says it can be rented for private parties. We did not find posted rates, booking rules or capacity on a current City page. Ask Milton Parks & Rec through City Hall, 678-242-2500 or info@miltonga.gov, before you plan around it.
Two City park rules matter for a party:
- Alcohol is not allowed in Milton parks except during rentals or special events that hold a city-issued alcohol permit. Milton Parks & Rec
- Smoking, vaping and tobacco are banned anywhere on park property, including trails and parking areas. Milton Parks & Rec
- Pets must be leashed at all times in Milton parks, and owners must clean up after them. Milton Parks & Rec
Drones are prohibited at all city parks. If you want a bigger stage, The Green at Crabapple Market, a few minutes away, is privately run; the market prices private events there case by case, generally $500 to $2,500 plus a refundable deposit. More on the Crabapple Market page.
Parking for the pavilion
There is no published parking rule for the pavilion. The nearest lots we could source are the Crabapple Market garage and the City Hall lot, each about 7 minutes on foot, and the library lot. On Carvin’ night the Government Center lot across the road hosts the police Trunk or Treat; on Crabapple Fest day it is the accessible-parking lot. Our parking guide ranks every option by the walk to the pavilion.
Nearby
The pavilion is a good start for a short walk: 3 minutes to the crossroads, 4 to the Green. For kids, the with kids page picks up from here, and parks and trails covers Mayfield Park and Friendship Community Park, both within a walk.
